Third party warehousing and distribution company, The Potter Group, has kick-started the campaign with a cheque for £5,000. The Dower House Hotel

Knaresborough hotel, The Dower House Hotel, has devised a novel way of buying bricks. "Henshaws is an exceptional charity and we aim to raise at least £5,000 for the Buy-a-Brick scheme through a number of activities. These include donating £5 for each member who joins our Corniche Leisure Club and 50p for each meal that is bough at our restaurant48. Having visited Henshaws College recently, we are very excited about the launch of the appeal."

Jespers

In a bid to sell bricks, long-standing supporter of Henshaws and local stationers Jespers, will become the town centre's 'virtual builder's merchant'.
"We will be selling virtual bricks for Henshaws over the counter from our Oxford Street store in Harrogate and we will also making a donation for every filing cabinet sold for the duration of the campaign from the Jespers OFFICE on Ripon Road."

The Harrogate Advertiser

Local newspaper, the Harrogate Advertiser, will act as the media sponsor for the Buy-a-Brick campaign. Supporters of the campaign will be listed in a weekly 'roll of honour' in the paper and on the website www.harrogateadvertiser.net.
